The item up for sale is a Cushman Hawk. This is a 1998 year model as best we know-thats what the dealer told us when we got it. Overall condition is very good. Looks great and runs darn good too. This little machine is not meant for high speed but rather to haul heavy or bulky items. Has a custom made rear bumper with reese style hitch. Everything works including all the lights. Drivetrain is the same as used in John Deere Gators only it is not geared to go quite as fast.
Encosed cab can be converted to open cab by simply removing the doors and presto-it's a Jeep! Has windshield wipers for rainy weather. Bed tilts up and can be converted to an automatic dump bed by adding a cylinder kit available through dealers and at some farm stores. Engine is a Briggs Vanguard twin cylinder and I believe it is a 12 or 14 hp-I forget. I'll look and add the carification soon. Top speed about 20MPH. It has been used primarliy for transporting people around antique tractor shows so it has had an easy life and the condition shows it. Beats the heck out of a scooter or golf cart.
This thing costs over 12 grand new so keep that in mind when you are trying to decide what it's worth to you. Pick it up or we can deliver for a price within a couple hundred miles or pay shipping if you wish.
This item was listed earlier but some scumbag coward managed to seize contol of the ad and messed it up and it had to be canceled while the investigation was under way. So if you were a prior bidder, many apologies.( If you are the lowlife who messed up the ad, bite me).
Now for the rules of engagement: Simple- ask questions before you bid and I'll give you an honest answer. After you bid, you are committed period. If you are not sure, DON'T BID! It isn't a hard concept to understand. I won't do that to you and require the same in return. On the other hand, I'll bust my butt to help you any way I can. I reserve the right to reject/ignore any bids from persons with less than optimum feedback. If you have never bid on ebay before, talk to me before bidding and I'll see what we can do. Thanks and happy bidding.
