Do you need something to get around your farm, dealership, or just around in general? This Ransomes 1993 Cushman, Model #327, is just the thing. We have used it around the farm and at the car lot. It has had sprayers mounted on it and has often carried batteries or jump boxes. You just wouldn’t believe how handy it has been.
Classified as motorcycles, these vehicles are often better know as “meter maid” cars. Thanks to the wisdom of our grandchildren, we’ve always called this one the “Clown’s Car”! LOL (I think that had something to do with the flashing red light on the top!)
**I don’t know if you’ve ever priced one of these little darlings, but last time we looked they started around $23,000…..of course that was about 5 years ago.**
It is not currently running, however, the only thing it needs to get it going is a water pump. A few days after Jim passed away, I found a note on my computer desk that he had left telling me to order it. I just never have yet.
The interior is in fair shape. The upholstery could use some good scrubbing and some saddle soap. The headliner is a foam material and has some tears in it, as the pictures will show. The dashboard gages are all original and are in working condition. There is no broken glass
The odometer is currently showing 23,551, however, I have no way of knowing the actual mileage. The Hours Operated gage is registering 3,440 hours.
The tires are holding air pressure with no problem, but are getting a little worn.
This Cushman is running on Butane, however, it can be converted to gas…..or so said my husband.
Although I wish I had the time to spend on each one, none of the cars I have listed have been washed, cleaned, or polished. The paint job on this one has oxidized and it really needs some elbow grease and good wax. There are areas of rust, however, none that go through the body.
Please note that I am personally NOT a car dealer!! My husband owned a Used Car lot until his death in July of last year and one of his greatest passions was his classics. He had a number of restored vehicles, and numerous “projects”, some of which I’ve already sold, and several of which I’ll be adding in the upcoming days.
They were all very special to him and my goal is to find each of them a loving home.
Although I have tried my very best to be as open and honest about the condition of this car, as well as all others I’ve listed, I am selling it AS IS. As Jim always was fond of saying, “Praise the Lord, we just don’t have to “cheat” anyone!”
I have included several pictures, and can always add more. If there is any particular view you are interested in, please feel free to contact me and I'll get it to you ASAP.
Please ask any and all questions before the end of the auction. I will take care to see that I have an answer ASAP. My email address is as follows: themom101@gmail.com.
I have been a member of eBay since 1999 and have always made it my policy to be as honest and open as possible. As you can see, my feedback profile shows 100% positive and I am very determined to keep it this way. I will do my very best to address any concerns that you may have in the most appropriate way. I also believe in the feedback forum and have never left negative feedback for anyone.
I do ask that the buyer handle all delivery options and fees. I can accept as payment: PayPal, Cashier's Check, Money Orders, or credit cards thru PayPal. I will also accept the remaining balance in cash if you come in person to pick it up…..but only after the deposit is paid.
I have been asked several times to end an auction early. I will not do this unless I find an error in the description, as in finding a problem when I said there wasn’t. I’m sorry but it just takes all the fun out of it!!!
Your interest in our “babies” is most welcome. Jim always loved to show them off.
It is my prayer that God keep you safe and happy!
