Here we have a 2001 Cushman Truckster in great shape with low miles.
2120 engine hours and 12,524 miles
Suzuki 3 cylinder engine, 3 speed automatic trans.
Several new parts installed in the last six months including...
New rear aluminum wheels wrapped with new P195/70/13 tires, New side view mirrors,
New lower tail lights, Replaced engine oil and filter, Replaced fuel pump and filter,
Installed Pioneer am/fm/cd player , new 6x9 speakers and cab fan
Overall this is an awesome little Cushman, It is street legal, Is registered and titled as a motorcycle. It has passed safety inspection. This Cushman gets all the attention! It would be great for advertising, tailgating, or parades.
Back tires are brand new, front tire is a 12" that is not brand new but still has nipples around it. I will include the old rear wheels and tires. Inspected rear brakes, they are great, I have not checked the front but it stops well. All lights and guages work as they should. The transmission shifts out fine, I have been told with the larger rear wheels it will run 50mph+, I usually run between 40-45. It was just painted about 9 months ago just before I bought it. There is no rust anywhere and is solid.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Although the engine runs great with no smoke or noises. There an issue of the engine sputtering and shutting down after about 15 minutes of hard running (over 35 mph). If you let it set 10 min or so it will restart and run. I have eliminated the fuel system and it still acts up. I am really thinking that it may be the cam position sensor but I am unsure and really don't have the time to dedicate to it. Parts are readily available for it. I deal with a company in Baton Rouge that is reasonable.
ANY QUESTIONS??? PLEASE ASK!!! THANKS FOR LOOKING
