Pioneer DEH-P400UB

This is the ugliest, hardest to use, most impossible to understand, and worst sounding car stereo I've ever had the misfortune to come in contact with. This pile of junk came in a used car I recently purchased. Fortunately, the car had the factory radio in the trunk, which I promptly reinstalled.

The good news is, it does actually work and it comes with the remote control. The bad news is, the half moon shaped buttons to the right of the big dial are worn, so who knows what they are supposed to do.. They do something that’s for sure, but I have no need or desire to figure it out. For all I know after being pressed in some mystery sequence they might magically transform this mobile pile of K9 excrement into something of slightly more use... Who knows?

The sound from this thing when I had the misfortune to turn it on was something similar to a gaggle of rabid Smurfs running wildly through last years pile of raked leaves being recorded on a early 1970's Montgomery Ward $5.00 cassette recorder.

I'm starting the bidding at the completely unreasonable sum of $.01.   Now, before you email me demanding I lower the starting price, please keep in mind that by listing this for such a princely sum I hope to be able to keep myself in Starburst fruit chews, which I have an insatiable appetite for. So bid with confidence, knowing you will be receiving the worst stereo in the world and that I will be indulging myself in fruit chewy sweetness from the proceeds.

Paypal only please!

Questions and answers about this item

Q: Will you throw in free shipping?
A: Who's "Shipping"? Is he related to Willy? Why is he being freed? Where did he get stuck? I guess I could throw him in there, as long as he's not too big, provided you cover the postage.

Q: Are you sure that a collection of smurfs is called a gaggle? I think it is called a "smurf" load of smurfs.
A: Wiki couldn't provide a good answer on this one. I was on the fence over gaggle, flock, smurf load, etc.. I think this is something that may perplex mankind well into the next millennia.
