1960 Cushman Eagle w/Sidecar
This is the first and only professionally restored Cushman Eagle with a sidecar that I have ever seen. I can guarantee you that nobody has ever put as much time and money into a sidecar project as we did. This restoration is museum quality and will win many awards. There are so many things to point out on this scooter:
1. Titled as a 1960 Cushman Eagle in the state of Florida.
2. Hand painted in dark green with beige pin striping. Wheels have been painted and striped to match scooter.
3. Majority of the sheet metal is original and it is all in great condition.
4. Gold leaf used in many different places.
5. Custom made front fender on the sidecar to match the original fender on scooter.
6. All lights and bulbs are working. Notice the light on top of the front fender.
7. Custom Parking brake added since you won’t use the kickstand. Kickstand is on scooter in case you want to drive without sidecar. Parking Brake Pull handle is located next to the speedometer as shown in the pictures.
8. Original 8HP motor with the Phil Humphrey Electric start kit added. ( www.Philhumphreys.com )
9. Original 2 speed transmission that shifts smooth.
10. Carb is a Mikuni as seen in the pictures.
11. All parts acquired are from Arcadia Cushman or Carpenter Cushman.
12. Custom matching leather seat with the leather in the sidecar.
13. Seatbelt installed in sidecar.
14. Chrome is all over this scooter including the engine shroud cover.
15. The Restoration was completed 2 weeks ago. (4/2011)
